The Ocean Conservancy
The Ocean Conservancy is working to protect the ocean from today’s greatest global challenges. Policy makers, environmental organizations and international climate delegates were meeting for conference in DC and they wanted to create a campaign specifically targeted to them. To remind them all that to protect the ocean it’s time for a change away from harmful offshore oil and gas, towards responsible ocean renewables. We jumped at the chance!
We came up with simple visual solution using everyday switches turning off the oil and gas and turning on offshore wind energy.
Bus Shelters
Proof of concept is best tested in a poster. Luck for us The Ocean Conservancy had purchased bus shelter placements around conference venues.
LinkedIn was a specific target for the audience at this event so we created animations with the graphic components we created for the campaign.
Video
To dive more into the facts and goals of switching to ocean renewables we created a video with our switches and impactful footage for the organization to play at different, meetings and online.
Banners
The Ocean Conservancy did a take over of Politico during the event, so we took the graphic elements from the campaign and came up with clever ways to animate them for interesting impactful banners.
